About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the West Virginia Office of Shared Administration (OSA) Purchasing Division for the Department of Health Facilities, specifically William R. Sharpe, Jr. Hospital. The RFQ solicits bids for a one-time purchase of five (5) new 2025 Ford Transit Passenger Vans or equivalent vehicles. The vans must meet specific mandatory requirements, including an All-Wheel Drive configuration, XLT trim package, fifteen-passenger seating capacity, medium high roof, 6-cylinder gasoline engine, and various technical features such as lane keeping system, blind spot assist, and a 12" screen with navigation. Delivery is required within 120 business days after receiving a purchase order, with the vehicles to be delivered to the hospital located in Weston, West Virginia.
The contract may be funded partially or wholly with federal funds, and is subject to the attached Federal Funds Addendum. The contract will be awarded to the vendor providing the lowest Grand Total price on the Pricing Page, with each of the five vehicles required to be a different color. The pricing mechanism involves vendors completing a unit price and multiplying it by 5 to determine the total cost. The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (WVDHHR) has also prepared an Equal Employment Opportunity Program (EEOP) Utilization Report, which is available for review. The procurement emphasizes specific technical requirements and allows for equivalent alternatives to the Ford Transit model, providing flexibility for potential bidders while maintaining core specifications.
