Preliminary screening of responses will occur with anticipated posting of selected firms for interviews on November 12, 2025, followed by interviews and presentations on December 3, 2025. The anticipated pre-construction start date is January 1, 2026. The selection process utilizes evaluation criteria under Rule Chapter 60D-5, Florida Administrative Code, and section 287.055, Florida Statutes, assessing office proximity to site, financial capacity, relevant project experience, proposed pre-construction and construction staffing, and project management systems utilization.
Respondents must provide a 100% Payment Bond and 100% Performance Bond, each valued at $7,750,000.00, demonstrating the substantial project scale. No specific set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises are noted. Future work may encompass additional generators at the Capitol Complex as funding becomes available.
