About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the 7th Contracting Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base for a Landing Zone Tree Removal project (FNWZ 25-0137). The solicitation seeks a contractor to perform vegetation clearing, including removing woody and succulent vegetation, grinding stumps, disposing of debris, and re-grading/re-seeding an area at Dyess AFB, Texas. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract, with no specific small business set-aside, though small businesses are encouraged to apply.
Key submission details include an optional site visit on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 1 PM CDT, with mandatory RSVP by August 26, 2025. Quotes are due by September 4, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. CST and must be submitted via email. The evaluation will be a best-value trade-off between price, technical acceptability, and past performance, meaning the lowest-priced quote may not be selected. Quotations must remain valid for 90 days, and contractors must submit three volumes: a pricing schedule, technical approach, and past performance information.

The Government may select other than the lowest priced quote or the quote with the highest past performance confidence rating.
