About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Design-Build 39256, C-1 Canal Baseflow Treatment Project, issued by the St. Johns River Water Management District (the District) in Florida. The project involves pumping water from the C-1 Canal into an innovative media-based treatment system to remove nutrients, and then discharging the treated water downstream. The addendum addresses questions from potential respondents, clarifying that resumes should be submitted in two separate tabs - one for key personnel and another for other project-involved personnel. It also confirms that the bond must be in the name of the respondent entity that the District will ultimately contract with.
The project is a pilot for a larger Indian River Lagoon stormwater capture and treatment initiative. Additional details, including a signed and sealed design criteria package, are available in the sample contract included with the solicitation. The District is requesting qualifications from interested firms, and respondents are instructed to acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their submittals. Any questions regarding the addendum should be directed to the District's Contracts Manager, Kendall Matott.

SUBJECT: Request For Qualifications – Design Build 39256, Addendum 2 C-1 Canal Baseflow Treatment Project
As a result of questions received from potential respondents, please be advised of the following changes to the subject Request for Qualifications – Design Build:
1. Question: It appears that the District is requesting resumes for Key Team members in both Tab 1.c.4 and
Tab 2.a. Can you please confirm if resumes should be submitted in both sections?
Answer: Resumes to be included under Tab 1 are for key personnel (lead engineer, engineer of record, construction project manager, engineering design manager, and on-site superintendent, etc.) Resumes to be included under Tab 2 are for other Respondent-personnel that are assigned or involved with the Work not included under Tab 1. Resumes previously included in Tab 1 may be omitted here.
2. Question: If the prime Respondent is an engineering firm, is it acceptable for the bonding letter to be from the surety for a Certified General Contractor included on the Respondent’s team as a subcontractor?
Answer: The bond must be in the name of the Respondent entity that the District will ultimately be contracting with.
NOTE: Please acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in your submittal.
If you have any questions regarding this addendum, contact Kendall Matott at (386) 312-2324 or via email at kmatott@sjrwmd.com.
