About this file

This document is an Addendum (No. 03) issued by New Smyrna Beach Utilities for RFQ 25-569, specifically addressing the renovation of the Central Office Building Women's Restroom. The addendum provides detailed clarifications and specifications for the remodeling project, including requirements for tile treatments, wall tile materials, sink types, emergency lighting, grab bars, door thresholds, and bathroom partitions. The project requires all elements to meet ADA Standards, with specific details such as using ceramic tile matching the floor, flush mounted oval sinks, solid plastic green partitions, and an American Standard wall-mounted porcelain sink with a touch-free Sloan faucet.

Key project parameters include demolition to be completed after hours or on weekends, retention of existing mirrors, and toilet seat cover dispensers to be removed and reinstalled by NSBU staff. The bathroom will feature 1-inch thick green partitions with Standard Privacy 55" doors and panels positioned 13.5" off the floor with overhead bracing. An aluminum door threshold with mill finish will be installed, and emergency light fixtures are required. Bidders are expected to acknowledge the addendum by returning a signed form with their proposal, indicating their understanding and agreement with the specified requirements for the women's restroom renovation.
