About this file

This document is an Addendum #3 to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Bowden Street Tank Painting and Inspection project issued by the City of Commerce. The addendum addresses several questions from potential bidders, including whether a bid bond is required, if the tank contains lead, access to power and water, the need for a local business license, permitted work hours, the presence of an antenna, the tank dimensions, and the applicability of Davis-Bacon wage requirements. The project must be completed before the end of June 2024, and the contract will be awarded and executed at the City Council meetings on November 6 and November 20, 2023, respectively.

The project is not funded with federal monies, so the Davis-Bacon and related Acts do not apply. The addendum must be signed and returned with the proposal, and failure to do so may result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive.
