About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for Washington County's Request for Proposals (RFP #TRAN25-14) for Shared Ride Taxi Service, issued on July 22, 2025. The addendum provides clarifications and answers to potential bidders' questions regarding the solicitation. Key details include confirmation that the current dispatch software is QRYDE through HBSS Connect, and that offerors must be willing to adapt to the County's existing software system. The County has specified that facilities will be provided by the offeror, and the RFP is being issued due to the current contract with Specialized Transport Services Inc. expiring.

The addendum indicates that the County will determine the budget based on the awarded contract, with bidders instructed to provide their best pricing on the proposal Excel document. The current vendor, Specialized Transport Services Inc., was last awarded the contract through an RFP in 2020. The document includes a signature section for authorized representatives to acknowledge receipt and compliance with the addendum's terms. While specific budget details are not disclosed, the addendum suggests that potential contractors should be prepared to provide competitive pricing and flexibility in adapting to the County's existing operational systems and requirements.

Answer: The Current dispatch software is:QRYDE through HBSS Connect

2. Is the County open to contractor-provided dispatch software (at no cost the County) if it can demonstrate greater efficiencies than the current software?
