About this file
This document is a Letter of Authorization (LOA) template for the City of Oklahoma City or a related Public Trust, designed to authorize an agent to sign a legally binding document on behalf of a proposer when the statutorily authorized officer cannot do so. The form provides specific guidelines for authorization based on the type of business entity, including corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs), partnerships, and joint ventures.
The document outlines the requirements for who can serve as an authorizing officer for different business structures, specifying acceptable titles and roles. For corporations, authorized officers can include President, Vice-President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chairperson, or Vice-Chairperson. For LLCs, authorized officers must have an ownership interest or be designated to manage the company, with titles such as Manager, Managing Member, Owner, Principal, President, or Vice-President. Partnerships require a General Partner, while joint ventures need an Authorized Officer from each venture.
