About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) for the restoration of a vintage McGiffert Log Loader and 3 Skeleton Rail Cars damaged in the 242 Fire. The project is anticipated to end before July 31, 2024 due to FEMA FMAG funding availability; however, the agency may extend the contract term to September 15, 2024 if approved. The addendum modifies the RFP to state that the maximum contract term allowed for an extension, if approved by FEMA, is September 15, 2024.
The state and local contract opportunity is for the restoration of the Collier Logging Museum's rare, vintage McGiffert Log Loader and 3 Skeleton Rail Cars damaged in the 242 Fire. The project is located in Klamath County, Oregon and is funded through FEMA's Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) program. The project is anticipated to be completed by September 15, 2024, though the original contract term was set to end on July 31, 2024.
