About this file

This is a pre-bid conference presentation and attendee list for Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission's RFP 325-420 for Automated Pay Stations. The conference was held via Teams teleconference on November 26 from 11:00-11:30 PM, with representatives from both State Parks and potential vendors including LAZ Parking and Ventek International in attendance. The RFP seeks automated self-pay stations for installation at various State Parks locations statewide, including hardware, software, warranty, and maintenance & operations support services. Proposals are due January 8 at 1:00 PM, with a question deadline of December 10 at 1:00 PM. The anticipated contract term is 5 years, with contract award expected around February 21.

The evaluation process will score proposals on multiple criteria: bid price (25 points), experience & expertise (25 points), specifications spreadsheet (40 points), and small/veteran-owned business preference (10 points). The State Parks may award to multiple vendors and will purchase units on an as-needed basis, with actual quantities varying year to year based on budget availability. All mandatory requirements will be evaluated as pass/fail, and State Parks reserves the right to continue evaluation with only the top 3 proposals meeting the most mandatory requirements. Questions and answers will be posted on WEBS, and late submissions will be rejected regardless of cause.
