About this file

This supplementary questions document supports an RFP issued by Mohave, an Arizona-based purchasing consortium, for trucks, vans, and utility service bodies (new, used, maintenance, and service) for its statewide membership of approximately 480 public agencies. The RFP, designated 26E-0325, seeks to achieve economies of scale through consolidated procurement. Contracts will be awarded for an initial one-year term with four potential one-year extensions. The solicitation encompasses new and used trucks and vans, rental options, parts, service and repair offerings, utility service bodies in new and used configurations, and vehicle leasing arrangements. Acceptable manufacturers include Chevrolet, Delta, Dodge, Drake, Ford, Freightliner, GMC, Imperial, International, Hino, Isuzu, Kenworth, Knapheide, Mack, Maxon, Mercedes-Benz, Morgan, Norwood, Peterbilt, RKI, Road Clipper, Royal Truck Body, Volvo, and Winston, though alternate solutions meeting specified quality and performance characteristics are permitted for consideration.

The supplementary questions require offerors to specify which products and services they offer, provide sample vehicle invoices detailing pricing methodology, factory-to-customer concessions, rebates, fees, charges, and administration fee calculations, and describe processes for optional equipment installation and subcontracted repairs. Vendors must submit a comprehensive list of all subcontracted installation, repair, and service facilities to be used under an awarded contract, including firm name, location, services performed, and years of experience. The document does not address specific pricing terms, set-aside requirements, incumbent information, funding sources, or amounts within its scope.
