Additional coverage requirements may be mandated based on the nature of work, including Professional Liability/Cyber-Technology E&O if providing IoT or network-controlled devices; Aircraft/Drone Liability of $1,000,000 if using aircraft or drones; and Pollution Liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence if performing hazardous material operations. The Canaveral Port Authority will purchase Builder's Risk Insurance for 100 percent of project amounts, with the contractor responsible for up to $100,000 of deductibles for non-weather-related claims. Contractors must name the Port Authority as an additional insured, provide a Waiver of Subrogation, and submit Certificates of Insurance within 15 days or face potential termination of award and agreement.
