About this file

This document is an Addendum to RFP 21-035 issued by the Salem Area Mass Transit District (SAMTD) for an Incident Management Software solution. SAMTD is seeking a commercial off-the-shelf, configurable, web-based, vendor-hosted Incident Management Software to assist with planning, responding, and managing issues related to safety, security, and emergency management. The software should include documentation, tracking, and sharing of information associated with daily operations, events, and accidents/incidents. The addendum provides a response to a question regarding the use of FedRAMP GovCloud versus non-FedRAMP hosting options, clarifying that SAMTD currently uses AWS for its SaaS/Cloud hosting services, and that AWS would be an acceptable platform for the proposed solution. All other specifications and terms and conditions remain unchanged.

The RFP 21-035 Incident Management Software opportunity covers the jurisdictions of Marion County and the City of Salem, Oregon. No other pricing, set-aside, incumbent, funding, or renewal information is provided in the addendum document.

RFP 21-035 – Addendum #2

SALEM AREA MASS TRANSIT DISTRICT

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP 21-035

INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

ADDENDUM #2

Salem Area Mass Transit District is providing information and making changes / additions / modifications / revisions as an Addendum to RFP 21-035.

The following changes, clarifications and SAMTD responses to questions posed to date are hereby provided to all proposers:

1. Question: Understanding that a FEDRAMP GovCloud solution is at least 5x more expensive than traditional SaaS/cloud hosting and you are anticipating only 6-100 users, are there IT Policies, Ordinances or reference materials that you are using as a guide to drive you this direction? Can non-FedRamp hosting options be considered at all?

Response: SAMTD currently uses AWS for nearly all of its SaaS/Cloud hosting services therefore AWS would be an acceptable platform for the proposed solution.

All other specifications and terms and conditions remain unchanged.
