About this file

This document is a Letter of Authorization (LOA) template for the City of Oklahoma City or related Public Trust, designed to authorize an agent to sign a legally binding document on behalf of a bidder. The form provides specific guidelines for different types of business entities (Corporations, LLCs, Partnerships, and Joint Ventures) regarding who is authorized to sign official documents, specifying acceptable titles and roles for each entity type.

The LOA template requires completion when the statutorily authorized officer has not signed the attached legally binding document, ensuring proper organizational representation. It includes spaces for the authorized agent's name, the bidder's name, the authorizing officer's signature, printed title, date, printed name, and email address. The document also includes a detailed note section clarifying the specific titles and roles considered authoritative for different business structures, such as requiring a corporate officer to be listed in bylaws or board resolutions, or an LLC member to have an ownership interest or management designation.
