About this file
This is a contractor's bid schedule and signature document for the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, New Hampshire Geological Survey, for the 2026 Bedrock Monitoring Well Installation Project under the Groundwater Level Monitoring Network. The project involves bedrock well installations at eight locations across New Hampshire: Bath, Concord, Errol, Exeter, Franklin, Lebanon, Lyndeborough, and Walpole. Contractors must bid on a minimum of four sites to be considered for award. The scope of work includes pre-job virtual meetings, site mobilization, site preparation and restoration, overburden drilling, bedrock socket drilling, bedrock drilling in various borehole sizes, steel casing installation, cement grouting, and locking caps. Work is to commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and be completed by June 30, 2027. Example scopes of work provided detail site-specific quantities for each drilling and installation task, with drilling depths and casing requirements varying by location.
Bidders must provide unit prices for each line item, including lump sum prices for mobilization to each site, hourly rates for additional site preparation, and per-foot or per-unit rates for drilling, casing, and related work. The bid schedule format allows contractors to calculate total bid amounts by applying their unit prices to the specified quantities for each site. All work must be performed in accordance with specifications and in a workmanlike manner, with contractor guarantee of quality and remediation of any defective work. Bidders are required to certify they are not debarred from federal transactions and must execute a contract affidavit confirming compliance with competitive bidding regulations under Title 23 USC, Section 112(c).
