About this file

This is Addendum No. 3 to Request for Bid (RFB) No. 26-0023 issued by the City of Columbus, Georgia Finance Department Purchasing Division for Comprehensive Generator Services under an annual contract. The solicitation addresses maintenance and inspection services for generator equipment located at City facilities, including a 1,000 kW generator at City Hall (1111 1st Avenue). The addendum extends the proposal due date to Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 2:30 PM Eastern Time. The RFB is open to full competition and does not restrict bidding to invited vendors only. The contract term includes pricing for Year One with different service levels and pricing for Years Two through Three, with Year Three and beyond services differing from the initial year offerings.

The pricing structure includes three main cost categories: Routine maintenance per manufacturer specifications (Column 1), semi-annual inspections combined with load bank testing (Column 2), and services for Years Three and beyond matching Column 1 pricing structure (Column 3). Load bank costs are incorporated into the annual inspection pricing rather than bid separately. Vendors must submit pricing using the forms provided in the solicitation and must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the appropriate Addenda Acknowledgment form included with their electronic bid response. Failure to acknowledge receipt of the addendum may result in the proposal being deemed incomplete and ineligible for award consideration.
