About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) – Weapon Systems Support (WSS) to conduct market research on additive manufacturing (AM) capabilities for naval applications.

NAVSUP WSS is seeking information from qualified businesses regarding their ability to design, produce, and deliver end items and piece part components using additive manufacturing methods. The RFI covers non-Level I items, though the Government anticipates that Level I/SUBSAFE items may be eligible for AM in the future. Interested vendors must submit responses in PDF format via email to hannah.m.forsyth.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 22 October 2026 at 4:00 PM EST with subject line "Request for Information: NAVSUP WSS Additive Manufacturing N0010427RZ058." Responses should include: administrative details (company name, CAGE code, DUNS/UEI, business size classification); manufacturing capabilities and subcontracting approach; facilities, equipment, and relevant certifications (ISO 9001, AS9100, Level I/NAVSEA approvals); past performance examples with contract numbers; mailing list preference; feedback on performance-based incentive structures for Firm-Fixed-Price contracts; and recommendations for competitive evaluation criteria. Three attachments are provided: a candidate NIIN list, draft Additive Manufacturing Section H special contract requirements for non-Level I items, and a contract data requirements list (CDRL) for non-Level I items. This RFI does not constitute a binding solicitation, no contract will be awarded, and the Government is not obligated to reimburse respondents for submission costs. Vendors are also encouraged to register their AM capabilities in the NAVSUP Interested Vendor Database.
