About this file

This document contains vendor questions and responses from OSCA (Office of the State Courts Administrator) regarding ITN-2024-005-DCA for the 5th District Court of Appeal Parking Garage Corrosion Remediation and Repairs project in Daytona Beach, Florida. The document dated January 15, 2025 addresses two vendor inquiries, including clarification about bringing X-Ray Computed Tomography equipment for cement column assessments during the scheduled vendor on-site inspections on January 30 and 31, 2025.

The questions and responses reveal that vendors must obtain permission from the Procurement Officer before bringing equipment on site and must provide documentation of equipment certification and operator qualifications. The first question indicates this is a corrosion remediation project focusing on concrete repairs, while OSCA's response clarifies they are only seeking services specifically outlined in the ITN document rather than additional consulting services.

2 Are contractors permitted to use X-Ray Computed Tomography to assess the extent of the damages?

Vendors may use X-Ray CT to assess the current condition of cement columns during the vendors on-site inspection on January 30 and 31, 2025.

Vendors must contact the Procurement Officer prior to bringing equipment on the property. The vendor must provide a copy of their most recent equipment inspection and certification documents and demonstrate that the operator is qualified to operate the equipment in a safe manner.
