About this file

This is a Question and Answer Set #2 document for RFP DGS 56956 from the State of California regarding EVSE Portable DCFC Charger procurement. The document addresses five specific questions related to electrical connections, skid specifications, and repair services for portable DC fast charging equipment. Key clarifications include that the estimated quantity is 10 individual skids (each capable of having multiple ports), and the Battery Storage requirement for Skid EVSE is specified at 200 kWh.

The pricing terms were modified through Addendum 1 (released 12/16/2024), which changed the Connection of EVSE line items from "each" to "hourly" billing. Repair services will also be billed hourly, with an estimated 5 repair hours per year. The Connection of EVSE line item specifically excludes site preparation services, and the state maintained its requirement for standardized electrical connection pricing despite a request to move to a time-and-materials model.
