ESCAMBIA COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT SOLICITATION FOR BIDS
Solicitation number
EE26
Issued by
Escambia County, Hialeah City, Florida

About this file

This document is a qualifiers document for the Escambia County Environmental Enforcement solicitation for bids related to cleanups and demolitions in Florida. The document outlines critical requirements for vendors participating in the bid process, specifically mandating that new Certificates of Insurance must be provided to the County at least 30 days prior to coverage renewals, with failure to do so potentially resulting in contract termination. Vendors are required to submit all required documents to the Division of Environmental Enforcement's Summary Abatement Officer within 24 hours of bid opening, and non-compliance will result in being considered a non-responsive bidder.

The document emphasizes that all demolitions listed on the complete project list require an approved licensed contractor with the necessary demolition insurance. Failure to meet these stringent requirements will disqualify a vendor, and the project will be awarded to the next qualified vendor. The qualifiers document serves as a critical screening mechanism to ensure that only contractors with proper documentation, insurance, and licensing can participate in the Escambia County environmental enforcement and demolition projects.
