About this file

This document is a clarification on the project narrative requirements for the Unemployment Insurance Navigator Grant Program, a state and local contract opportunity in Oregon involving the jurisdictions of Marion County and Salem City.

The clarification states that the previously required 2-page limit on the project narrative has been removed. The project narrative should now include an Executive Summary (1 page), Problem Statement (within the Executive Summary), Organizational Capability (1 page), Goals and Objectives (1 page), Outcome (1 page), Project Plan (10 pages), and Evaluation Plan (1 page). The additional attachments listed, such as Attachment 3 - CBO Goals & Objectives - Activities, would still need to be completed as part of the proposal.

Clarification on Project Narrative:

The page limit of the Project Narrative has been confusing and the 2 page limit is being removed. The project narrative is just defining the narrative portion of the proposal; which should include the:

Executive Summary (1 page) Problem Statement (included in Executive Summary) Organizational Capability (1 page)

Goals and Objectives (1 page) Outcome (1 page) Project Plan (10 page) Evaluation Plan (1 page)

The additional attachments listed would still need completed (i.e. Attachment 3 – CBO Goals & Objectives – Activities).
