_Availability_97_PowerFlex.p df,NEVI-PowerFlex.pdf, Is the Prime contractor required to have a
Rhode Island Master Electrician License, or can a Prime contractor utilize a subcontractor that holds the appropriate license?
The Prime contractor is not required to hold a
Rhode Island Master Electrician license.
Electrical work must be performed by, or under the direct supervision of an individual/firm holding a valid license by RI
DLT's Board of Examiners of Electricians
(electrical contractor or master electrician license), independent of the prime's own credentials. The Prime may utilize a licensed electrical subcontractor to perform and be accountable for the electrical scope, provided that subcontractor holds an active, RI electrical license. A copy of the RI licensure should be included in the bid.
