PROPOSED CUSTOMIZED TRAINING FRAMEWORK GUIDE

This training Framework is provided as a tool to assist the contractor in developing the most effective and tailored training curricula and Training and Development Plan. While the contractor should primarily rely on their subject mater expertise and industry experience when designing their proposed approach, this framework serves as a reference to help scope and structure the customized training offering.

TRAINING COMPONENTS (SUGGESTED):

1. Career Development Essentials: Vendors are encouraged to include a foundational training module that covers core concepts related to career development. This module should encompass areas such as goal setting, self-assessment, and personal development planning. It should be designed to accommodate employees at various career stages.

2. Leadership and Management Training: Vendors may consider offering training targeted at employees with leadership responsibilities. This module should focus on leadership skills, team management, critical conversations, leading in a virtual environment, and effective communication.

3. Technical and Professional Skills: Vendors are invited to propose modules that offer training in specific technical or professional skills relevant to the organization's needs.

Examples may include project management, data analysis, or industry-specific certifications.

4. Soft Skills and Interpersonal Training: Vendors can suggest courses in this category that address soft skills such as emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, implicit bias, briefing skills, influencing stakeholders, and effective networking. These courses enhance employees' interpersonal capabilities.

TARGET AUDIENCE (SUGGESTED):

Vendors are encouraged to design the training framework to accommodate a diverse range of employees within ARPA-H, including:

• New Hires: Consider onboarding training that helps newcomers integrate smoothly into the organization and understand its culture and mission.

• Mid-Career Professionals: Propose customized training that supports career advancement by strengthening leadership, management, and technical skills.

• Leaders and Managers: Include specialized training that equips leaders with advanced skills to effectively lead teams and drive organizational success.

DELIVERY METHODS (SUGGESTED):

Exhibit 1 75N992-24-Q-00001

To ensure flexibility and accessibility, Vendors are invited to utilize a blend of suggested delivery methods:

1. Self-Paced Learning: Consider providing employees with access to self-paced online courses that allow them to learn at their own convenience. This format is ideal for foundational and technical skills training.

2. Virtual Training: Propose virtual instructor-led sessions that provide an interactive learning experience while accommodating remote employees. These sessions should facilitate real-time discussions, workshops, and Q&A sessions.

3. In-Person Training: For critical training that benefits from hands-on experiences or in-depth discussions, suggest in-person sessions. This format fosters collaboration, team building, and networking.

TRAINING SCHEDULE (SUGGESTED):

Vendors are encouraged to structure the training framework to provide employees with flexibility in choosing their learning paths. Suggested annual training calendars may be provided, outlining the schedule for instructor-led sessions, release dates for self-paced modules, and opportunities for virtual training.

ASSESSMENT AND FEEDBACK (SUGGESTED):

Vendors are encouraged to incorporate regular assessments and feedback mechanisms into the training framework to gauge the effectiveness of the programs and identify areas for improvement. This may include suggesting quizzes, surveys, and post-training evaluations.
