Central to the strategic roadmap of ARPA-H is the recruitment of exceptional talents who can drive significant breakthroughs in major medical advancements. The agency seeks to attract and hire top-tier professionals, including doctors, scientists, and other specialized medical and health experts, who are highly coveted in the competitive commercial job market. To further enhance the capabilities of these accomplished individuals, ARPA-H recognizes the necessity of assembling a proficient and specialized support team that complements the specific requirements of the professionals who will be leading the Mission Offices that will be created based on their research efforts.

In order to secure and retain these exceptional and uniquely skilled career professionals, ARPA- H has been granted distinctive hiring authorities, setting it apart from conventional government organizations.
