About this file
The file is a Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM) for Flex Cable drawings, specifically focusing on review and comment categorization for technical documentation. The matrix provides a structured approach for reviewers to submit comments, categorizing them as Administrative (minor errors), Substantive (less significant deviations), or Critical (major deficiencies that could prevent implementation). In this specific example, a USAF reviewer (Joe Myers) commented on the need to specify the maximum bend radius for cable fabrication, which the contractor agreed to address by adding a drawing note with bend radius requirements for different cable groups.
This CRM is part of the broader FA821725RB002 solicitation for the AN/FPS-117 Radome Replacement project, which involves a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. The contract covers production and installation of 28-foot composite radome assemblies, spare parts, data deliverables, site travel, training materials, and legacy radome disposal for 27 operational radar sites across Canada. The contract will use fixed price and cost reimbursement pricing arrangements, with a potential total performance period of nine years, and is open to small businesses with a size standard of $34 million.
