About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation (Standard Form 30) for Solicitation PRC0002-25, issued by Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR). The amendment modifies the original solicitation for Architectural and Engineering (A&E) services, specifically focusing on elevator design and hazardous materials assessment. Key changes include extending the elevator design completion period to 114 calendar days after award, updating licensure requirements to comply with District of Columbia laws, and adding new scope of work elements such as inspecting and assessing hazardous materials like asbestos, lead-paint, and PCBs. The A&E contractor must provide a separate abatement design report if hazardous materials are discovered, which will be incorporated into working drawings and technical specifications. Supplemental attachments include responses to questions and a site visit sign-in sheet.
