About this file

This is a test matrix document (Technical Exhibit 6.6) that outlines the testing requirements for the Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP) laboratory operations.

The matrix details specific testing procedures for different types of equipment including air and ground diesel engines, turbine engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, and transmissions. Key tests include viscosity, FT-IR, AES, FERROGRAPHY, and LASERNET analysis. Special notes indicate that certain tests (marked with *) are only performed at Redstone Arsenal and Kaiserslautern AD AOAP labs, while Chlorine Analysis is limited to Redstone Arsenal, Camp Humphreys, Kaiserslautern AD, and Fort Liberty AOAP labs. All CONUS and Camp Humphreys AOR sample chips must be shipped to the Redstone Lab. The document specifies that Karl Fisher testing must be performed first, and samples marked with ** must be shaken before analysis. The revision is dated July 24, 2024 (REV 8).
