Solicitation P17PS00436 Amendment One

In order to document the site visit, modify proposal submission instructions, and answer questions received, the above numbered solicitation is hereby amended as follows:

1. A site visit was held as scheduled on 10 May 2017. See attached meeting slides and attendance sheets.

2. Solicitation Section L, “Instructions for the Submission of Offers and Other Information”, is modified as follows:

a. Paragraph B, Submission Instructions, is modified to add: Via Email:

sharon_miner@nps.gov

b. Paragraph C, Proposal Format, is modified that Volume I Technical Proposal and Volume II Business and Price Proposal shall be submitted as one electronic copy each.

Offerors shall email all portions of their proposal, including a pdf of their bid bond, so that it is received prior to the closing date and time indicated in Block 13 of the SF-1442.

Offerors shall mail or courier the original SF-1442 and bid bond to ensure it is received by the Contracting Officer not later than one week after the proposal due date.

3. The following initial questions regarding the solicitation have been received and answers provided. Additional questions and answers will be forthcoming in a subsequent amendment.

Q1. Will there be DDC Controls on this project?

A1: Per specification section 23 09 33 - INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL FOR HAVC, 2.2, A.: "No direct digital controls are allowed."

Q2. It looks like volume 1 of the specs for this project might be missing the "Closeout and Operational Maintenance Requirements" that were supposed to be attached to section 019114. The table of contents indicates that it should consist of 3 pages & there is a 1 page document there, but it doesn't seem to match the table of contents.

A2: The Table of Contents incorrectly indicates the "Closeout and Operational Maintenance Requirements" is located AFTER specification section 01 91 14, whereas it is actually located at the end of Section 01 78 23 - Operations and Maintenance Data.

Q3. The due date for proposals for the Paradise Inn Annex is the day after Memorial Day. Any chance that can shift by a day or two to allow for ease of delivery in Denver?

A3. The due date for proposals has not been extended. However, the delivery method has been changed per item 2. above to accommodate the holiday and delivery constraints.

4. All other terms and conditions, including the solicitation due date, remain unchanged.
