About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for the Brevard County Purchasing Services Request for Proposal (RFP-4-25-04) for Non-Motorized Eco Tours - Restricted Use Permits, issued on March 26, 2025. The addendum addresses a clarification regarding watercraft permitted for the eco tours at two locations: Manatee Cove Park and Kelly Park East on Merritt Island, Florida. The proposal opening date remains scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with no changes to the original terms and conditions.
The key clarification in this addendum relates to watercraft usage, specifically confirming that non-motorized rafts are acceptable for the eco tours, with the restriction that they are limited to two-person occupancy. The original draft contract stipulated that only kayaks, canoes, and standup paddle boards were authorized, and this addendum provides additional flexibility while maintaining the non-motorized requirement. The document is signed by Mary Bowers, the Purchasing Manager, and maintains the original proposal's core requirements and timeline.
