About this file
This is an Addendum No. 2 for Oak Park Schools' Request for Proposals (Bid Package 25-T01) for Audio/Video Systems & Equipment at Oak Park High School's Training Center, issued by Metro Technology Services IT, Inc. on June 5, 2025. The addendum covers a project to install audio/video systems in multiple areas including the Field House and Weight Room, with a project timeline from a kick-off meeting in late June 2025 to completion by late November 2025. The bid proposals are due on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST, to be submitted to the Oak Park Schools' Administration Building.
The document includes detailed questions and answers from potential bidders, clarifying technical specifications for the audio/video systems. Key points include using Extron or equivalent control systems (with Q-SYS approved as an equivalent), installation of wireless microphones, speaker arrays, and multi-zone sound capabilities. The Field House is approximately 25 feet tall, and the Weight Room has an open ceiling about 8-9 feet tall. Bidders are requested to provide a base bid option and voluntary alternate options for each category. The owner has not finalized all owner-furnished equipment, and some technical details remain flexible, encouraging bidders to propose solutions that meet the project's core requirements.
