About this file
This document is Exhibit A for Wage Requirements from the Marin Housing Authority, detailing wage standards for an Electrical Services Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract covers electrical services for two property groups: Group A, which includes federally funded properties like Golden Gate Village and is subject to Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wages, and Group B, which includes state and non-profit funded properties such as Bradley House and Sundance Apartments, governed by California Prevailing Wage regulations.
The wage requirements specify that contractors must comply with the correct wage standard for each property's funding source, with typical rates for an Electrician in Marin County ranging from $68-$70 per hour as of 2024. Contractors are obligated to confirm wage determinations before starting work, pay at or above required rates, maintain certified payroll records for three years, submit compliance documentation, and ensure subcontractors also comply. The Marin Housing Authority will provide the applicable wage rates with each work order, and contractors are responsible for verifying current rates at the time of each Purchase Order (PO).
