About this file

This document is an Exhibit I Road Cost Bid Form for RFQ 24-00023 related to the Observatory Forest Health Thinning project being conducted by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW). The project requires harvesting and delivering approximately 13,366 tons of timber from 4 units on the Wenas Wildlife Area in Kittitas County, Washington. The bid form provides detailed line items for various road work tasks including required pre-haul maintenance, reconstruction, post-haul maintenance, and abandonment on Observatory Rd, Hanson Pond Rd, Riggs Canyon Rd, and other road segments. Bidders are required to provide per-station pricing for these tasks, as well as pricing for rock placement and barrier rocks. The bid form must be submitted by October 18th, 2024 as part of the overall project response.

The bid form provides detailed specifications on the required road work, including plans and details for bridge installation, complex culvert installation, and other key items. Bidders must review the associated exhibits, including the Road Summary Narrative and Road Plan, to understand the full scope of work. The bid form also includes required and optional bid items, allowing bidders flexibility in their overall cost proposal. The total road cost proposal amount must be entered at the bottom of the form.
