This is a Notice of Award issued by the City of Orange Beach, Alabama, for the Tennis Court Resurfacing and Cabana Installation project at the Orange Beach Tennis Center. The awarded contractor must submit fully executed contract documents, including two original contracts, one original Performance Bond, one original Labor and Material Bond, and a Certificate of Insurance within ten days of the Notice of Award date. The project encompasses the complete resurfacing of eight tennis courts using the Acrytech Acrylic Surface System and installation of four cabanas with black powder-coated steel frames. All work must be completed by August 7, 2026, with liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day assessed for delays exceeding 30 days from the Notice to Proceed. The contractor must guarantee all labor, materials, and workmanship for one year from final billing, excluding new cracks.

Failure to submit the required contract documents and insurance certificate within the specified ten-day period will result in the City considering the bid abandoned, annulling the Notice of Award, and declaring the Bid Bond forfeited. The contractor must maintain comprehensive insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 annual aggregate, Business Automobile Liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence, Worker's Compensation as required by Alabama law, and Commercial Umbrella/Excess Liability of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and aggregate. Upon receipt of all required documents, the City will return one fully signed original contract within ten days. Contact Bill Fetner in the Finance Department at (251) 981-6783 for information regarding the Business License requirement. The contract is subject to all terms and conditions specified in the General Conditions and related procurement documents.
