This document is Addendum #6 for the Nome Hangar Remodel Project issued by the Alaska Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) located in JBER, Alaska. The addendum clarifies several project details for a renovation of a hangar in Nome, Alaska, including specifics about work schedules, equipment replacements, and construction requirements. Contractors will be permitted to work Monday through Sunday from 7am to 7pm, and the project involves specific modifications such as installing new ducting for an exhaust hood over a range and referencing existing kitchen cabinet renderings in the invitation to bid (ITB).
The addendum provides explicit answers to multiple contractor queries, indicating that certain elements will not be replaced, including the bathroom sink, water fountain, emergency lighting units, and exit signs. No sealed architectural, mechanical, or electrical drawings will be provided, and insulation of VTRs will not be added. The document is signed by Scott Stewart, Building Management Specialist, with contact information for further inquiries. While no specific budget or funding details are provided in this addendum, it serves as a critical clarification document for potential contractors bidding on the Nome Hangar Remodel Project.
