The Notice of Intent to Award was issued on December 18, 2025, and the awarded vendor will receive a purchase order from the City; work shall not commence without a signed purchase order.
Proposals were evaluated using five equally weighted criteria, each valued at twenty percent: Qualifications (professional and academic experience, company tenure and financial viability, company milestones and recent successes, and bandwidth and staff); Feasibility (actions and resources required by the City and reasonableness of anticipated costs to scale the project); Impact (ability to produce short-term and/or long-term outcomes benefiting residents, community stakeholders, and the City); Originality (novelty of the proposed solution and whether the City's normal purchasing process would have omitted the solution); and Understanding of the Challenge (vendor's ability to define why they are best positioned for the project and provide recommendations to improve the scope or outcome). In the initial scoring, BeeSpace received eighty percent out of one hundred possible points, ranking second among all twenty-two vendors. Following the Demo Day presentations and interviews, the evaluation committee selected BeeSpace as providing the best value, with a final score of twenty-three percent compared to Devotion Fitness Inc (seventeen percent) and RDC-S111, Inc dba Studio One Eleven (twenty-one percent).
