About this file

This document is a comprehensive guide to electronic bid submission for the School Board of Citrus County, Florida (CCSB), detailing the process for submitting bids through the VendorLink platform for an E-Rate funded network switch equipment procurement. The guide provides step-by-step instructions for vendors, including how to access the bidding system, upload documents, and finalize submissions, with strict requirements that all documents must be submitted as a single PDF file, and electronic price forms must be in original Excel format. The submission process emphasizes timeliness, with a clear warning that late submissions will not be accepted and that only specific file formats (PDF, Excel, ZIP) are permitted.

The solicitation seeks network switch equipment for upgrading the district's wired network, with specific requirements for vendors including a minimum of five years of experience in data communications, valid Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN), Federal Communications Commission Registration Number (FRN), and FCC Green Light Status. Vendors must be manufacturers, authorized distributors, or dealers, and must provide warranty information, descriptive literature, and detailed specifications for proposed equipment. Refurbished or renewed equipment is not acceptable. The bid requires submission of three commercial/governmental references, with at least two from public school systems, and mandates that installation will be performed by CCSB staff, so vendors should not include installation or labor costs in their pricing.
