About this file
This document contains the standard specifications for a parking lot expansion project at the U.S. Embassy in Lusaka, Zambia. The project requires the expansion of three existing parking lots, covering approximately 250 square meters of the crushed stone, concrete, and grass in the current staff parking area, 240 square meters of the lawn areas located north of the Utility Building, and 240 square meters of the lawn area west of the Chancery Building.
The specifications provide detailed requirements for the demolition, earthwork, concrete pavement, joint sealants, and other related work for the parking lot expansion. Key sections include excavation, soil materials, concrete mix designs, joint construction, concrete placement and finishing, pavement markings, and quality control testing. The document also references related sections for earthwork and pavement joint sealants. This appears to be a technical specification document, rather than a solicitation or performance work statement.
