About this file

This document is an amendment to the Illinois Department of Transportation's (IDOT) Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) project, which seeks a vendor to provide weather data up-link service to NADIN for 38 non-fed Automated Weather Observation Services (AWOS) III P/T systems. The amendment provides responses to additional vendor questions regarding the IFB. It confirms that there is an incumbent for this proposal, and clarifies that IDOT is not combining the NADIN and AWOS maintenance projects, but a single vendor can bid on both IFBs.

The IFB is for a state and local contract opportunity in Illinois. There are no details provided on pricing terms, set asides, funding requirements, or other salient commercial information. However, the amendment indicates that IDOT is seeking one vendor for the NADIN project.
