About this file

This document is an Amendment #5 to the Illinois Department of Transportation's (IDOT) Invitation for Bid (IFB) B-13412 / 20-OIPI-R-57797 for the National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) project. The IFB seeks a vendor to provide weather data up-link service to NADIN for IDOT's thirty-eight (38) non-fed Automated Weather Observation Services (AWOS) III P/T systems. The document provides responses to additional questions received from vendors regarding the IFB. It confirms that there is an incumbent for this proposal and that the Department is not combining the NADIN and AWOS maintenance projects, but a single vendor can bid on both IFBs.

The IFB is a standalone procurement for the NADIN project. Pricing information, set-asides, funding requirements, and sources are not provided in this amendment. However, the amendment indicates that the NADIN project is separate from the AWOS maintenance project, 20-494DOT-FINAD-B-13410, for which the Department is also seeking bids.
