About this file
This document is an Amendment (Amendment 0005) to a federal solicitation for the competitive procurement of Fuel Density Measurement Sets for the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program. The solicitation is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside for a single-award, three-year, Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a guaranteed minimum of fifteen (15) units to be placed on the first delivery order. The solicitation covers a Fuel Density Measurement Set, Part Number 4106AS0290-1 with NSN 2915-01-725-8712, and includes specific ordering periods across three contract years.
Key details of this amendment include incorporating industry questions and corresponding government responses, such as clarifying that an OEM NIST traceable calibration certificate with the hydrometer's serial number is an acceptable alternate to a calibration sticker, and confirming that only glass hydrometers (not digital density meters) are being considered. The amendment also extends the quotation submission deadline to 7 August 2025. Technical data package release is restricted to current and approved Department of Defense contractors, with interested offerors required to submit a valid DD Form 2345 (Military Critical Technical Data Agreement) by 22 July 2025 to receive download instructions. The procurement is administered by the Naval Air Warfare Center Procurement Department in Lakehurst, New Jersey.
