ECW-50 system Date: January 29, 2019 Requirement Report Document Number: 4K7_ECW50_001
Use or disclosure of data contained on this sheet is subject to the restrictions on the title page i
Introduction Purpose This document provides ECW-50 system requirements with their properties including requirement ID, requirement name, requirement text, and requirement source where applicable. The numbering schema of the requirements ID shows the requirement traceability, meaning requirement with the ID 1.1 represent a child requirement of the requirement with the ID 1, requirement with the ID 1.1.1 is a child requirement of the requirement with the ID 1.1 The children requirements are also considered derived requirements and are intended to further refine the higher level requirement to facilitate the ECW-50 system design.
Scope The ECW-50 system is a liquid cooling system that will provide chilled liquid to the SPN-50 Radar System components that are designed to rely on the liquid cooling to dissipate the large amounts of heat generated by those components. The SPN-50 radar system components that require liquid cooling are Solid State Transmitter (SSTX), and two Signal Data Units (SDUs).
The ECW-50 system will be installed with the SPN-50 onboard the CVN and L-class ships and must integrated into existing shipboard environment with minimum impact.
The ECW-50 system has to meet the Grade A shock and vibration requirements as defined in the MIL-DTL-901E.
Use or disclosure of data contained on this sheet is subject to the restrictions on the title page
