About this file

This request for proposals solicits testing and analysis services for lube oil samples from the U.S. Navy fleet. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division seeks a contractor to receive used and new oil samples via express mail, test each according to specified test slates including analyses for properties like viscosity and contaminants, report daily results electronically in the required format, and store samples for 45 days. The base year minimum is estimated at 900 samples monthly with potential surge to 1,300, and four option years are included. The solicitation requires the contractor's laboratory be ISO certified and located in the U.S. with the ability to process and store at least 4,500 samples. The response due date is March 8, 2024.
