About this file
This document outlines test slates and specifications for lube oil quality management testing support services. The contractor shall perform routine testing of various oil samples according to test slates that specify analyses such as viscosity, water content, oxidation levels, wear metals, and particle counting. Tests will follow standards from ASTM, SAE, and ISO. The contractor must also conduct spectrochemical analysis of wear metals in oil samples and analytical ferrography as directed. Reporting requirements include submitting test results and analytical ferrography reports to the government client with relevant details and analysis. This RFP from the Department of the Navy seeks these lube oil quality management testing support services with a performance work statement and data transfer requirements outlined in the attachments.
