This amendment modifies a solicitation for a large capacity weight handling equipment multiple award contract. The Navy seeks to establish multiple IDIQ contracts to provide overhead cranes, hoists, and related equipment and services for naval shipyards and other facilities. The amendment extends the response deadline for the initial solicitation from October 3rd to October 17th. It also incorporates priority rating and labor standards clauses. The seed project involves replacing a 50-ton bridge crane at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, with a completion date of June 30, 2024. Future delivery orders will specify individual requirements and schedules.
