About this file
This document is a performance work statement for an advanced helicopter training system ground-based training system contract to be awarded by the Naval Air Systems Command.
The contractor will provide flight training devices, contractor instructional services, and technical support. Twelve flight training devices - nine Level 7 and three Level 6 - will be delivered to Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Florida between seven and 51 months after contract award. The contractor will make contracted training time on the devices available between 16.5-19.5 hours per day on weekdays and 10.5-13.5 hours on Saturdays, depending on the device. Additional hours may be ordered.
Contractor instructional services will be ordered from 40-515 hours per week, with the ability to order up to 10% more hours as additional instruction time. The contract has a 30-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The government will host an industry day on July 9-10, 2019 to review the draft performance work statement and answer questions from interested parties. The anticipated NAICS code is 611512 and small business participation goal is 30%.
