The following items are applicable to this modification:
AMENDMENT 001 CHANGES
(a). Make the following change to 52.236-27 SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) (FEB 1995) – ALTERNATE I
(FEB 1995):
(b) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
(c) An organized site visit is scheduled for— 10 August 2020, 1000 Pacific Standard Time
Participants will meet at the following location for the pre-proposal conference:
Keyport Undersea Museum 1 Garnett Way Keyport, WA 98345
Note: Contractors will be utilizing their own vehicles to the project site following the pre-proposal conference, which will be held in the parking lot. Masks will be required for outside of vehicle.
All prospective Offerors are urged to attend the Site Visit – ONLY THREE (3) individuals from each offeror are authorized to attend due to parking requirements and size of group.
Base Access for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport site visit - Individuals attending the site visit who do not already have access the NUWC Keyport via DBIDS must complete the base access request. Submit all base access requests to grace.montero@navy.mil and nancy.coffee@navy.mil using attachment J and include (Attendee Names, Driver License/ State, Date of Birth (DOB), and citizenship).
Requests to attend the site visit shall be submitted no later than 2 PM, local time, 24 July 2020.
Late requests cannot be guaranteed acceptance.
All site visit attendees must have a current driver's license, current registration and proof of auto insurance to gain access to the base. When you arrive at NUWC Keyport, you will also need to have proof of citizenship documents with you, which can be either a Valid Passport or a State Certified Birth Certificate (not just a photo copy, not torn, or not mutilated) and if using a Birth Certificate, the individual(s) must also have one piece of Valid Photo ID. It is highly recommended that you go to Pass and ID early on the day of the Site Visit to receive your badging.
NOTE: If you already have access to NUWC Keyport, the Government still requires the names of the personnel attending the Site Visit. Provide the names and information on Attachment J and state in the REMARKS section that the attendees have DBIDS badging and submit to grace.montero@navy.mil and nancy.coffee@navy.mil no later than 2 PM local time 07 August 2020.
The following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required at the site visit:
Steel Toe shoes/boots Reflective Vest Hard Hat Masks
Cameras are not allowed at the Site Visit.
In order to make the Site Visit as productive as possible, Offerors are encouraged and requested to submit any questions on the PPI form, Attachment A, via email to grace.montero@navy.mil and nancy.coffee@navy.mil. All prospective Offerors are advised that this solicitation is unchanged unless it is amended in writing, regardless of any verbal responses provided during the site visit.
Copies of solicitation amendments will be posted to Contract Opportunities at https://beta.sam.gov.
