About this file

Line items 0001AA and 0001AB are lump-sum prices for renovation work and new construction work respectively, with 0001AA explicitly including all fire protection work. The remaining items (0001AC through 0001AO) are unit-priced items covering concrete pavement removal (100 CY), bituminous pavement removal (50 CY), aggregate base course (50 CY), bituminous concrete installation (500 SY-IN and 500 SY-IN for different mixes), gravel placement (200 SF), concrete pavement installation (50 CY), soil undercutting and replacement (300 CY), and electrical work including conduit demolition (1,000 LF), conduit extension (350 LF), barrier arm and lighting extensions (100 LF), AMI meter rough-in (250 LF), and ESS device junction boxes (10 EA). CLIN 0002 is a bid option for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) procurement and installation with a Government estimated price of $283,572 and allows offerors to propose a Handling and Administration Rate (HAR) not to exceed 5 percent. CLIN 0003 is a bid option for Audio/Visual (A/V) package procurement and installation with a Government estimated price of $200,000, also allowing a maximum 5 percent HAR. Both option items require separate funding authorization and are subject to bonding requirements at the time of option award, with contract extensions and extended field overhead potentially available if awarded within the final six months of the project completion date.

The proposed HAR percentage will be incorporated into the contract award and will not be adjusted regardless of fluctuations from the estimate amount for the FF&E. The proposed HAR is a fixed rate.
5. The Government is not obligated to award the Option line item(s). Should the Government choose to award the FF&E, the line item will be awarded as a negotiated option to the contract. The Contractor's proposed HAR will be applied to all vendor/supplier costs for the FF&E.
