About this file
This document is a Project Proposal Information (PPI) form for a federal contract to replace an elevator at the DNA (Defense Nuclear Agency) facility, Solicitation #N4008525R0084. The project involves installing a new 2500 lbs. freight hydraulic elevator with three stops, heavy-duty aluminum checkered plate interior panels, and steel door and frames. The conduit route will run from the Electrical Room through the Weapons Cleaning Room and Corridor to the Elevator Machine Room. Key details include:
The existing roof was installed in 2010 by Siplast/Westar Roofing, and the current elevator manufacturer is Dover. The government clarified several technical specifications, including that the Superintendent may serve as the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), the Quality Control Manager cannot serve as the Superintendent, and record drawings must be submitted in CAD and PDF formats. Navy Elevator Inspectors will perform the inspections, and no CAD drawings are currently available. The project cut-off date is 12-AUG-2025, with the contractor expected to generate drawing files in Revit and export them as DWG files for final submission.

1. Please confirm whether or not CAD files are available.
No CAD drawings are available.
08/12/25 Part 2
1. Part 2, 01 33 00.05 20, 1.6 references DWG design drawings. Part 2, 01 33 10.05 20, 1.3, FINAL DESIGN deliverables, requires submittal of “all native CAD files for the final drawings in AutoCAD 2018 format.” Paragraph p. of the same section also references “native AutoCAD drawing files”. The only way to have “native” CAD files is to create the drawings in AutoCAD, which would preclude the use of Revit to create the files.
Please confirm that all drawing files should be created in AutoCAD (as opposed to conversion of a Revit model to CAD files).
Contractor can generate drawings files in Revit and export DWG files for final submission.
