About this file
This document is Amendment 0001 for a renovation project at NAS Oceana, Dam Neck Annex in Virginia Beach, VA, dated 10 July 2025. The amendment modifies multiple sections of the original solicitation for Building 355, specifically focusing on Rooms 216-218. Key changes include:
- Flooring specifications: Replacing slip-resistant epoxy floor coating requirements with standard epoxy paint matching existing corridor colors, reducing the wall base from 12 to 8 inches. 2. Interior door specifications: Upgrading from "maximum duty" to "Level 4" hollow metal interior doors with a 40 STC (Sound Transmission Class) requirement. 3. Demolition and concept plans: Deleting the existing document in Part 6 and replacing it with a new version. These modifications suggest refinements to the original renovation plan for the SOCOM Compound, maintaining slip resistance and sound insulation standards while adjusting specific material and finish details.
