Please verify that the contractor will be required to close runway 10-28 for the installation of the new duct banks, shelter foundation, glide slope antenna tower foundation and part of the new access road as shown on ES104 as all this work is to take place within 175' of the edge of the runway.

A construction waiver will be completed to allow construction within 175' of the runway edge. Runway

10-28 will remain active during the entire construction process. A portion of

Foxtrot taxiway will be closed (near and around the construction site) to allow construction to continue unimpeded.

66 10/09/24 ES105

Please note that section 011400 1.2.2 a states, "Any work that requires personnel or equipment to be within 175' of the runway edge or within 150' from the taxiway center line must be performed during runway/taxiway closure periods.".

Please verify that

Foxtrot taxiway will need to be closed when installing the new duct bank and new access road from the existing communications manhole as the work appears to be within

150' of the centerline.

A construction waiver will be completed to allow construction within 175' of the runway edge. Runway

10-28 will remain active during the entire construction process. A portion of

Foxtrot taxiway will be closed (near and around the construction site) to allow construction to continue unimpeded.

68 10/09/24 ES104

Please provide the closure schedule for

Foxtrot taxiway and

Runway 10-28 so the contractor may properly schedule the work that is to take place within 175' of the runway's edge.

A construction waiver will be completed to allow construction within 175' of the runway edge. Runway

If this can be completed, please provide a new set of drawings showing the new locations of the manholes, duct banks, access road, shelter foundation and antenna tower foundation, for bidding purposes.

A construction waiver will be completed to allow construction within 175' of the runway edge. Runway

Lighted closure devices shall be FAA Type L-

893.". Please verify

Lighted runway closure not needed for taxiway closures.

Taxiway closure requires low profile barricades as identified on

GN102

that the same will not be required for taxiways closures.

71 10/09/24 011400

Please refer to section 011400 1.2.1 b (1). This states, "If runway 10-28 is closed for this project's work, the contractor must, if directed by air operations and/or the contracting officer install and maintain two temporary lighted runway closure devices for each end of the runway.".
